At the beginning of the month my buddy Brooke from Blushing Noir held her first giveaway. Brooke's giveaway was sponsored by the lovely Tracey at Ginger Kitty Designs. You can read all about her here. Brooke had a great interview and Tracey offered up a beautiful bracelet for the giveaway. I did not win the bracelet, but I emailed Tracey and asked her about a custom designed ring.
Just in case you were too enthralled by my amazing writing technique and didn't want to leave this post, let me just tell you this one important piece of info: All of Tracey's jewelry is made with nail polish. How cool is that?
I asked Tracey if she could whip something up with sparkles in the orange/yellow family, something reminiscent of Icie's November birthstone. Tracey was amazing. We discussed design and she sent some pictures for my approval. The ring I first selected unfortunately had some issues with some black glaze peeking through the orange and yellow. Tracey could have just sent it off, and I probably wouldn't have even realized the glaze wasn't supposed to be there. Tracey revealed herself as a bit of a perfectionist to me though and sent me a picture pointing out the glaze and offered to redo the ring. I took her up on the offer and she sent me not one, but two rings!
So since I got two rings for the price of one I decided to share one with one of you.
