How far along: 21 weeks
Gender: Another girl for us, pink prevails!
Pregnancy Symptoms: Lots of round ligament pain.
Maternity Clothes: Still wearing a mix of both maternity and non-maternity clothes.
Movement: A few really solid kicks and lots of flutters. She seems to like Icie’s Yo Gabba Gabba CD we listen to in the car. I feel a lot of movement during the peppy songs.
Best Moment of the Week: After some tense moments during the ultrasound seeing that she was in fact a she, and most importantly healthy!
Food Cravings: Pumpkin anything, but that’s more about the cooler weather than being pregnant.
Weight Gain: Still down 10 pounds since my positive pregnancy test. I keep getting on the scale and expecting to see a big jump, but nothing yet though my bump would have you think otherwise.
Days until Due Date: 133
What’s Happening This Week via The Bump.com:
Baby gulps down several ounces of amniotic fluid every day, both for hydration and nutrition and to practice swallowing and digesting. And, these days, those taste buds actually work! Studies show that after birth, babies are most interested in tastes they've already experienced through amniotic fluid. Meaning, think about what you want your future child to eat as you prepare your own lunch.
