Miss Antonia at 15 months is a dare devil, and has the skinned knees to prove it. She has no fear and she makes my heart skip a beat several times a day. As crazy as she can be, she is also a big snuggler. A few times a day I get the best fifteen minute snuggle sessions. She gives the best hugs too, wraps those chubby little arms around my neck and nuzzles in saying, "awww, awww" the whole time. I'm amazed at how she follows directions most days. I can send her to put away shoes in the shoe bucket or throw something in the trash and she returns after holding up her hand for high five. This month her favorite word is still, "bite". Anyone with food is followed around with choruses of "bite!!!" until they share with Miss Annie. Annie loves being outside and we are thankful the weather finally lets us get out in the yard at least once a day now.
We've had a busy May. So I thought I'd do a little photo dump catch up. Maybe in June, I'll be a better blogger, maybe.
Icie and I took a trip together to Pittsburgh. Our original plans got switched around a bit when a dear friend's grandmother passed away. I was glad I was able to make it to the funeral, but a lot of visit was kind of crazy. We did manage to visit my mom's horses at the barn. Icie has been to the barn twice before, but was much to afraid to ride. It was a major deal for her to ride Darby. Once she was on him, she loved it and would have let Grandma walk around the arena all day. The barn had two new babies there, and the one was so loving and Icie got a couple snuggles out of her.
As soon as we got back from Pittsburgh, my sister-in-law came for a visit. The girls had so much fun with Aunt Debbie. The played hopscotch and chalk, read and snuggled, and just really enjoyed the visit. We think Aunt Debbie had a good time too, Icie can't wait for her to come back.
The water table and the girls new swimsuits from Aunt Mandy have been getting a good workout. Isn't that swim cap the cutest thing ever?
We went over to Frankenmuth this weekend for a dog show. Icie had fun watching the dock dog competition. They had chairs lining the pool so that kids could stand on them and get an up close look and a splash. It took her awhile, but she finally got up on one and really enjoyed herself. Annie clapped after each dog, and was very happy in her stroller as long as no dogs got too close.
This weekend I showed Icie how to use our old point and shoot. She took over two hundred pictures, these were my favorites.
So here's to hopefully a better blogging schedule in June!
